The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education, Pune is an Autonomous Body established under the provisions of the Maharashtra Act No. 41 of 1965. The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education conducts HSC and SSC Examinations in the state of Maharashtra through its nine Divisional Boards located at Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Nasik, Kolhapur, Amravati, Latur, Nagpur, and Ratnagiri.

Admission Process for Junior College

Swaraj college of commerce Balaji Nagar Dhankawadi Pune has School and Junior College provide instruction for classes XI and XII of Arts, Science, and Commerce (English medium) as per the rules and syllabus of Maharashtra State Board For Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.

The admission process to class XI is conducted by the central admission committee and generally starts after the declaration of Class X results.

Eligibility for Class XI Admissions

Arts & Commerce– A student seeking admission to Class XI  of Arts and Commerce must have passed the Secondary School Certificate Examination of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education or any other examination recognized as its equivalent, with English as a compulsory subject.
Science– A student seeking admission to XI Science must have secured at least 40% marks in the Science subjects in the Class X examination.

Fees

The complete course fee for the year is to be paid at the time of admission only. Upon cancellation of admission during the year refund of the fees is given to the student as per the Govt. rules.

Concessions in fees are awarded as per the government norms to deserving and eligible students.

Promotion from Class XI to Class XII

Class XI Students are successfully promoted to Class XII when they clear the Term End Exam and Year-End Annual exam. However, round the year performance of the students in Tutorials, Assignments, Practical Work, and Oral Examinations is also considered with due weightage.

The Final Results are the Average Marks Secured by a Student in all these Examinations.

The Students Passing Class XI Examination are Awarded Following Grades 

First Class with Distinction: To successful candidates who obtain not less than 75% marks in the aggregate, calculated on the basis of the six (in the case of a vocational subject) or seven subjects offered for the examination.

First Class: To successful candidates who obtain less than 75% but not less than 60% of marks in the aggregate calculated on the basis of the six (in the case of a vocational subject) or seven subjects offered for the examination.

Second Class: To successful candidates who obtain not less than 45% marks but less than 60% of marks in the aggregate calculated on the basis of the six (in the case of the vocational subject) or seven subjects offered for the examination.

Pass Class: To all other successful candidates.
